The Friends of the Delaware County District Library is proud of its 19-year history of supporting the Delaware County Public Library System, with its 5 branch locations. They have been able to satisfy the needs of the community through donations to the Public Library of more than $250,000 for funding of many projects and programs.

The Friends of the Delaware County District Library is a nonprofit group of library-loving volunteers whose mission is to support the mission of the Library by advocating, community awareness, fundraising and volunteering to support and enhance the DCDL programs & services.
We represent the Library at community and business events.
We sponsor events such as: adult author visits and Young Writers Workshops to help promote literacy.
We also created an endowment fund to help support the Library’s Makers Studios.
