Donating to the Friends online is an efficient and effective way to provide support.  You can make donations to our General Fund or designate your donation to our Maker Studio Campaign.  Just click the desired button below & follow the prompts.

Your employer or its parent company may match all or part of your gift to the Friends. This may be true even after you have retired from your employer. The amount of matching contribution can vary from 1/2 to as much as 5 times what you have given in a calendar year. The matching contribution does not cost you anything but it obviously increases the impact of your gift to the Friends. You should contact your employer to find out if it has a matching gift program and whether the Friends is eligible to receive the match under your employer’s program requirements.

Many individuals elect to support their favorite nonprofit organizations like the Friends by recommending a gift to the Friends through their donor advised fund (DAF). DAFs allow donors to make a charitable contribution (including cash and stock), receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time to the organizations they wish to support. If you have established a DAF with an institution such as the Delaware County Foundation, Vanguard, Fidelity, T Rowe Price or Ayco, among many others, please consider recommending a gift to the Friends. The fund advisor can contact the Friends for any documentation needed. The Friends has been approved as qualified to receive recommended donor advised fund contributions in the past.

In lieu of flowers at a funeral service or celebration of life, a loved one's memory can be honored through donations to the Friends of the Delaware County District Library.

You can make donations to The Friends of DCDL in conjunction with these programs:

While we are proud to say that we have collected over $100,000 of our $150,000 endowment campaign, we are still actively raising funds to support and equip the Maker Studios at the Liberty branch and the Delaware Main branch! Funds will be used to purchase machines and supplies for STEM education for all ages in Delaware County.
