Stacie Martin

Join author and illustrator Stacie Martin for an engaging, hands-on experience centered around her early reader, I Am Momo. Designed for children ages 4-6, this interactive workshop combines literacy, movement, creativity, and a behind-the-scenes look at how a book comes to life.

Students Will:

• Meet Momo through an interactive read-aloud of I Am Momo, featuring a Momo puppet and big book.
• Practice early literacy skills through shared reading with the high-frequency words "I" and “am."
• Get up and move with a fun, Momo-themed song and movement activity.
• Discover how a simple idea became a published book through a short digital behind-the-scenes look.
• Learn to draw Momo and explore how illustrators bring characters to life.
• Design their own stories and adventures for Momo.
