Linda Silverstein was an avid reader, and passionate about supporting libraries and promoting lifelong learning. She was an educator for over 30 years. In her retirement, she was a dedicated volunteer with the Friends of the Delaware County District Library serving as a Board Member, the Outreach Coordinator and Secretary during her tenure. Linda believed that learning and reading were essential for life. She also believed in serving the community in which she lived and was not afraid to challenge the status quo.

 

We who knew Linda miss her deeply and are pleased to have this opportunity to honor her and the impact she made on us, on her students, and on the overall community.
