News Flash: We just had a record-setting sale at Liberty!
No wonder we are all still trying to catch our breath. Thank you for showing up to volunteer, to shop, and (throughout the year) for donating books/media to us! You rock!
We are looking for volunteers to assist at the Delaware Book/Media Sale on Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th at the Delaware Branch. Jobs include customer assistance, membership sales and shelf restocking. Click the link below to sign up or learn more about the available opportunities.
This is one of our favorite book sales of the year, because if you work/shop on Saturday, you can walk a few blocks to enjoy the Delaware Arts Festival afterwards! It makes for a great Saturday outing.

Volunteers needed for DCDL/COSI event at First Friday on May 1st
When DCDL and COSI partner, you know the result will be both educational and fun! And popular, so volunteers are needed to help participants make the most of this opportunity.
On Friday, May 1st, children and family attending Main Street Delaware's First Friday can participate in "Inventing America: 250 Years of STEAM with Main Street" with a hands-on STEAM experiment and creative activity inspired by the discoveries and innovations of an American inventor.
As a volunteer, you'll assist participants with an interactive experiment and creative challenge. Or you may be helping children select free books from the Friends of DCDL.

We are actively looking for volunteers to participate in our Outreach Committee!
We support library services, programs, and staff by fundraising and encouraging gifts on behalf of the Library. We do this by networking throughout the Delaware County region at various Delaware and Powell city and chamber events.
We are seeking library-loving “social butterflies” who like being active in their community, to attend some of these various Friends and community events throughout the year. We are specifically looking for individuals who would like to join and volunteer with our Outreach committee.
