Your Next Opportunity Awaits on Thursday, June 25th!
The Friends will proudly host an evening with author Laura Kamoie to discuss her latest novel, "A Founding Mother" on 6/25. This novel gives an intimate look at Abigail Adams, a lesser-known but important historical figure tied to many well-known Founding Fathers of American history.
We have been offering tickets for sale for the past few weeks (and you still can purchase a ticket.) If you would like to help us out by working the event, you will receive complimentary admission to the event. (Admission does not cover the cost of the book; you can purchase the book ahead of time or the night of the event.)
This will be held outdoors at the Dempsey Event Center and we need eleven (11) volunteers for decorating, set-up and tear down of refreshments, guest check-in, book signing, bar attendant, and parking attendants.

Sign-ups start now for Delaware Book/Media Sale on June 26-27. Choose your favorite job/time slot today - from set up to clean up and reshelving to customer support - we can't hold a sale without Friends helping us.
Do you have teens needing to earn service hours (or do you just like the idea of spending a few hours working alongside your kid/grandkid, helping others?) Sign up your youth, too, and we can sign off on service hours worked.

We are actively looking for volunteers to participate in our Outreach Committee!
We support library services, programs, and staff by fundraising and encouraging gifts on behalf of the Library. We do this by networking throughout the Delaware County region at various Delaware and Powell city and chamber events.
We are seeking library-loving “social butterflies” who like being active in their community, to attend some of these various Friends and community events throughout the year. We are specifically looking for individuals who would like to join and volunteer with our Outreach committee.
