Jane Hamilton Visited on October 19, 2025!

The Friends of the Delaware County District Library welcomed Jane Hamilton to celebrate her new book, The Phoebe Variations.

Jane Hamilton, the acclaimed, New York Times bestselling author discussed her latest stunning coming-of-age novel about girls, mothers, and finding one's way in the world.

Jane's novels have won literary prizes, have been made into films, and have been international bestsellers, and two of them, The Book of Ruth and A Map of the World, were selections of Oprah's Book Club. Her nonfiction has appeared in the New York Times; The Washington Post; Allure; O, The Oprah Magazine; Elle; and various anthologies. She lives on an apple farm in Wisconsin.
