LAURA KAMOIE returned on Thursday, June 25th for a fabulous garden party!
In time for the 250th Anniversary of the birth of the United States came A Founding Mother, Laura's sweeping, intimate portrayal of Abigail Adams—wife of one president and mother to another—whose wit, willpower, and wisdom helped shape the fledgling republic. A stunning historical novel with modern-day implications from the New York Times bestselling authors of America’s First Daughter and My Dear Hamilton, Stephanie Dray and Laura Kamoie.
Laura Kamoie's extensive history knowledge as an historical fiction and former professor of Early American History at the US Naval Academy made for an amazing presentation that took all the attendees back to the beginning times of our amazing country! Guests were also treated with a beautiful garden party setting at the picturesque Dempsey Event Center with delicious tastes that Abigail Adam's would have served at her gatherings topped off with her famous Abigail's Punch. As an added surprise, Laura brought a special gift basket full of A Founding Mother goodies that was raffled off and some very lucky guests got to take home the amazing book centerpieces. It was a perfect evening had by all!
