An Intriguing Night of Crime - Fact & Fiction

What happens when you invite a retired FBI agent and a crime thriller author to discuss their latest books?  You get an exciting evening of true criminal acts and their victims mixed with high-stakes narratives and suspenseful plots in an event the Friends like to call "Authors & Ales."

A sold-out crowd joined us on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Bandit's Bar in Delaware from 6pm-8pm.  Everyone enjoyed yummy "guy food" along with ales & cocktails while lounging in this speakeasy-style bar.  The fascinating stories of two highly acclaimed local authors kept the crowd engaged for over an hour & could have gone on hours more.  Lucky for us Harry Trombitas & Robin Yocum will be joining the Friends again in the Fall for an "Authors & Ales" Part 2 on Monday, October 5th at 80 East Bourbon & Cocktail Club.
